Born in Iași, Romania, Codrina-Laura Ioniță pursued studies in art and philosophy in Iași and in Dijon, France. As an artist, Codrina has held solo exhibitions in Dreux, Iași, Timișoara, and Constanța, as well as taken part in numerous group
exhibitions and national and international biennials
(New York, Cadaqués, Cantabria (Spain), Bages (France), Wingfield (UK), Bucharest, Iași, Timișoara, Botoșani (Romania).
As a Professor at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași and a researcher at the “Vasile Drăguț” Center for Research in Medieval Art, Codrina received the “George Oprescu” Prize of the Romanian Academy in 2025.
